Let joy be your guide
Let joy be your guide when choosing your path. Joy is a thermometer that we so often disregard. However, it is an important indicator of our lives.
If we are not feeling joy, it is a sign that we are not aligned with what we love.
Subsequently, if we are not doing what we love we are not doing what we are meant to do.
And what are we meant to do?
We are meant to be happy!
Ancient teachings tell us that we came to this world to be happy and I chose to believe that. An otherwise existence of suffering would not make sense.
Of course, there are obstacles on the road, but they should not be a reason for hesitation.
When we are on the right path, accompanied by joy and a sense of fulfilment, obstacles are overcome with determination.
We have an inner mechanism that generates strength to help us surpass anything that gets on the way of our happiness.
This inner mechanism is called faith.
Having had a proof-oriented mind for a long time, faith was not part of my life because it did not fit into my reasoning.
But life awakens us when the time it right, and so happened to me.
There is a moment in life when we realize that our state of mind serves as guidance. Constant joy, enthusiasm, initiative, or frustration, sadness and demotivation are vibrational messages to our soul.
I am not talking about instant feelings caused by one particular event, but about long term states of mind that either push us forward or pull us back.
If your life is not mostly lived with joy, then it may time to take a look inward to understand why not.
Let joy be your guide when choosing your path.
